We are delighted to have this beautiful house on our list of lovely homes for couples, professionals and students.

In 2023 we spent a huge amount of money by fully renovating every inch of this spacious two bed house. We have had a new roof fitted over the dormer window. The attic room has been lowered to 8ft and totally insulated, using 50mm insulated plaster boards. All the outer walls have also been insulated using the same material, to give this property an EPC rating of C, a requirement for all rental properties by 2025. Together with double glazing and modern composite door, this property is as efficient as we can possibly make it.

Just to give you an idea of the intensive work which was carried out: we took out the dividing wall between the lounge and the galley kitchen, which gave more space and storage in the kitchen area and made the whole of the ground floor feel modern, bright and comfortable. In the lounge, we have chosen modern colours – subtle greens and greys, and also provided dining for four people, using the upholstered alcove seat and an extending IKEA white dining table and two further upholstered chairs. There are two modern sofas in dark grey hard-wearing material. We have also fitted a beautiful light oak laminate floor and together with the solid oak TV unit and 50in. TV, this is a superb room in which to relax after a hard day’s work. Upstairs, there is a superb bright and modern bathroom with a large shower with rainwater shower head. There is also a white vanity unit with ceramic basin and a separate IKEA storage unit next to the shower. The bedroom next door is a great size with a beautiful fitted wardrobe with sliding mirror doors, IKEA double bed, large desk in the right hand alcove and a huge IKEA  6-drawer unit with smoked glass top. The double-glazed window has Hillarys louvre blinds and also black out curtains. The front wall has been insulated with 50mm material and the room has been fully replastered. Upstairs: there is a superb en-suite bedroom with an IKEA double bed and a fitted wardrobe with sliding mirror doors. We have provided a large chest of drawers in the alcove with an LED light overhead. There are two further storage cupboards, built into the void spaces which we made available to add maximum storage for the occupant.

In the basement cellar, there is a small room where the boiler is and can be used for storage. The bigger room in the cellar houses a washing machine and tumble drier. Basically, it’s a laundry room where you can do all your washing and ironing.

We have replastered just about every wall and repainted the whole house in modern light and subtle colours of light greens, greys and blues, which has created a very desirable, homely house. A home which you will look forward to coming home to and will surely be the envy of all your friends.

Finally, there is a block paved garden with a picnic bench, a planter and a flower bed which will provide an area where you can chill out with a drink with your friends during warmer weather.

It’s just one of the best two bed houses that you will find. In effect, it’s a 100 year-old terrace house which is like a new-build. Superb!!
